40 weeks...

yeah... like the entire gestation period of a human.
Am I reborn?

40 weeks sober I mean.

So, there's this site/blog/thing called Humans of New York. It makes my tummy hurt to read it, these little snippets of other people's stories. I want to do something like that. Get out of my head and collect stories.

I've just been thinking about it all day.

I need a nice camera though.
I want one.

I need to up my creativity, my creative muscles ache with disuse. Yes, I've been good about writing this blog, but sometimes I feel more like I'm emotionally vomiting via my keyboard than bringing beauty into the world. Maybe too philosophical?

So? Should I do it?
Find a way to collect stories?

A note #100creativedays Day 70

Hey

I blotched last night's post and need to sort it out asap.

I did some baking tonight, but the details need to be kept under wraps until tomorrow, I'm hosting a Mexican dinner. Exciting hey?

I'm not going to waffle on, its late and I don't sleep enough. I lost a chunk of time when I fell down an internet rabbit hole. Reading about adoption of all things.

Noted - a work in progress #100creativedays Day 30

Inspiration hit today, maybe because my sobriety is going well, to start a new blog! Nothing time consuming, just a source of inspiring quotes and tumblr stuff. Mostly because I'm constantly in search of motivation, wisdom and inspiration. My idea is to every so often go crazy with scheduled posts so that I'm literally feeding my own feed with something special and uplifting at least once a day!

Design work and layout come to a halt when I realised that I'd left my power cable at the office.

Blog Suggestion - Zoella

I discovered Zoella while gratuitously watching Casper Lee videos... yeah... I know... dirty little pleasure. Gosh he's cute as a button...

Zoe of Zoella is gorgeous and funny in her Youtube videos, and she can write to boot! I checked out her blog and her post  "Why are you so skinny?" really got me thinking. People pass comment if they think that you are too thin, just as much as if they think you are fat - maybe even more so because being skinny is seen as being "aspirational". I hope I don't sound like a hypocrite by saying this, but can't we just be nice to each other? Maybe say "you look great" - leave it at that, although... I like being called skinny... gosh... it's not easy is it?
