Hey!
Thanks for all the hits yesterday, I'd like to believe that it wasn't just because you thought I might be knocked-up... I don't write this blog for hits, but rather support and for myself, but gosh darn it, it's good to see that people are reading my latest posts, and clicking on older posts too!
Anyway, thanks, you made me smile yesterday.

Hey Sharon,
ReplyDeleteMy friend who is a nurse and diabetes educator mentioned to me that carrying weight in a way that looks like a preggie belly can be a sign of insulin resistance. You should do some research on the subject.

Hi
DeleteThanks for the comment - I am pretty certain that it isn't anything to do with insulin. I read through the symptoms etc and I crucial one's like blood sugar and blood pressure are quite opposite in my case.
I've always had weak tummy muscles, add in IBS, depression, and comfort-eating.... I regularly have cholesterol, BP and sugar tested, I'm very healthy except for being overweight. (yearly with Discovery, and once between for insurance)
My high protein, no carbs Dukan mission has left me with a flatter, less bloated and HAPPY tummy for the first time in ages. Just cementing my theories on wheat-intolerance.

Salut Sharona!
